Transpek-Silox’s strong commitment towards fulfillment of its Corporate Social responsibility is amply reflected in the proactive role it plays in undertaking initiatives aimed at improving the living standards of the human settlements around its manufacturing locations.
These initiatives include organizing free medical camps, offering educational programmes on health care, vocational training for providing self employment to women etc,.
Transpek-Silox has made its share of contributions in the area of Art and Culture also. It nurtures budding artists, in order to help them to discover their full potential. It also promotes the cause of transnational cultural integration, by organizing cross-cultural initiatives such as Indo-Japan Stone Symposium which it organized during the year 2005.
It also supports the developmental initiatives of the local government of its home city, Vadodara. A unique work of art “ Abacus” created by the renowned sculptor, Mr Nagji Patel at the behest of the company now adorns one of the major landmarks of the city.
Active participation in the Government initiatives aimed at reducing the human misery during times of natural calamities such as Earth Quake and Floods, is another hallmark of Transpek-Silox.
